Official program overview

The Bachelor of Science in Faith-Based Nursing Principles provides students with foundational theoretical knowledge in nursing principles, health education, wellness, compassionate care, ethical service, communication, human development, and community health from a faith-based perspective. This program is designed for students who wish to apply nursing-related knowledge in religious, faith-based, nonprofit, ministry, humanitarian, and community-service organizations. The program is academic and non-licensure in nature. It does not provide professional nursing licensure, does not qualify graduates to practice as licensed nurses, and does not represent state-approved prelicensure nursing education.
